- Have you tried 'listing' the files to see if the deletable bit is set. If
- not just try protect <filename> +d
- I've never tried the force option, but I *have* had to add the 'd' when
- archives unpack with what the person who set it up assumed were priceless
- files that should *never* be deleted.
